Deviled eggs with Relish

6 eggs

1/4 cup mayo

Salt and pepper

1 teaspoon white vinegar

3 Tablespoons Cali Jalapenos Relish

Cali Jalapenos pepper slices (optional)

 

Instructions:

Boil and shell eggs

Mix egg yolks, mayo, salt, pepper (to taste), Vinegar, and Cali Jalapenos Relish in a mixing bowl.

Put mixture into a bag, and dispense into eggs.

Garnish with more Relish or Jalapeno slices.

Pickled Eggs, Cali Jalapeno style

Super easy!!!!

After you have finished your favorite flavor of Cali Jalapenos, save the brine.

Hard boil 4 eggs per jar, peel the shells, put them in the jar, put in the fridge.

Hardest part is you have to wait at least 3 weeks to enjoy.

Best cream cheese, spicy jam with crackers

Ingredients:

1 block softened cream cheese

½ tsp garlic powder

½ to 1 tsp cayenne powder (spicy)

½ tsp dry minced onion

5-6 dashes of salt

2 Oz cheddar cheese shredded

2 Oz pepper jack cheese shredded

½ tsp mustard

8 oz jar of Cali Jalapenos, Mango Jalapeno jam

2 Tblsp fresh chopped chives

 

Instructions:

Mix Cheeses, seasonings in a small mixing bowl with a fork.

Spread evenly in a medium flat dish where the cream cheese mix is about a half inch thick.

Cover and put in the fridge for at least 4 hours. Even up to a few days if you want.

Before serving mix up jam and spread over the top, and sprinkle chives on the very top.

Best to take out of fridge about 1 hour before serving to soften cream cheese mix.

Jalapeno jam chicken wings

Ingredients: 

About 2lbs chicken wings

Salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste

Cali Jalapenos, jalapeno jam, 1/4 cup

BBQ sauce, 1/4 cup

 

Instructions

Rinse and pat wings dry

Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder

Cook wings in air fryer at 375F for 10 min, flip, and cook another 10 min

While chicken is cooking make the sauce, mix equal amount BBQ sauce and Jalapeno Jam, warm in the microwave for 20-30 seconds to liquify

Toss / mix sauce and wings in a mixing bowl.

Enjoy with your favorite ranch, blue cheese and veggie.

 

Great as a glaze on other chicken or pork also!

Creamy Cali Jalapeño Cilantro Dip Dressing

Ingredients:

  • ¾ cup Sour Cream
  • ¾ cup Mayonnaise (if you prefer less mayonnaise, you may use 1 cup of sour cream and ½ cup mayonnaise)
  • 1 packet 1 oz Dry Ranch Dip
  • ¼ teaspoon Garlic Salt
  • ½ cup Cilantro (tightly packed, may add more for fresh flavor)
  • ¾ cup Cali Jalapeños (plus juice from a jar (may add up to 1 cup depending on heat preference)
  • ½ cup Buttermilk (if you want it to be thinner, add more buttermilk, can also substitute with heavy cream or milk)
  • 2 Tomatillos (optional)
  • 2 teaspoons Fresh Lime Juice (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, stir together sour cream, mayonnaise, ranch dip packet, and garlic salt.
  2. In blender or food processor, puree cilantro and Cali Jalapeños with a little juice. (If using tomatillos, blend with jalapenos and cilantro).
  3. Add cilantro jalapeno puree to mayo mixture.
  4. Stir in buttermilk until you reach desired consistency. Add fresh lime juice, if using.
  5. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Easy jalapeno hot sauce

Ingredients: 

  • 1 jar Cali Jalapeños 
  • Water (optional depending on how thick you like your hot sauce) 

Instructions:

  1. Add a jar of Cali Jalapeños to a blender along with the garlic, carrots, tablespoon of juice from jar, 1/2 tsp salt.
  2. Blend on high until totally smooth. This may take several minutes depending on your blender. Taste and add more salt and/or water if needed.
  3. Transfer hot sauce to a jar and refrigerate for up to 2 months. 
  4. You can also cook the hot sauce for a milder, more mellow flavor. Pour the mixture into a sauce pan and cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until the color changes to a deeper, duller color; about 2 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool before transferring to a jar.

Jalapeno Popper Grilled Cheese sandwich

Ingredients:

Bread

Cheese (Cheddar or jack is best)

Butter

Cali Jalapenos

 

Instructions:

Butter the outsides of your bread and put cheese in between with 4-10 jalapeno rings. Grill till brown and crispy.

Red Beer

Ingredients:

12 oz Your favorite lager / light beer

2 oz Clamato

Salt and pepper to taste

2 oz Cali Jalapenos brine (juice)

Jalapeno to garnish

Tapatio or similar hot sauce to taste

Jalapeno ranch dip

Ingredients: 

  • ½ cup Cali Jalapeno slices
  • 1 (1-oz) package Ranch dressing mix
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup buttermilk can substitute heavy cream or milk
  • ⅓ cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • ⅓ cup tomatillo green salsa
  • 1½ tsp cumin
  • pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Place Cali Jalapeño slices in the bowl of a food processor or blender. Pulse the jalapeños until finely chopped.
  2. Add remaining ingredients, and process until smooth.
  3. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours prior to serving.

Bloody Mary

Ingredients:

3/4C. V8 or similar tomato vegetable juice

1.5oz Vodka

Salt for the rim

Stalk of celery

2 dashes of Worcestershire sauce

2-10 dashes of hot sauce

2-4 dashes of ground pepper

2 Tbsp of Cali Jalapenos brine (juice)

Cali Jalapeno peppers and carrots to garnish

Instructions:

Salt the rim of the glass. Pour all ingredients in the glass, add some ice, stir and garnish.

Jalapeno Jam bagel 

Ingredients:

Plain bagel

Cali Jalapeno, Jalapeno Jam

Cream cheese

Jalapeno Cornbread

2 cups of cornmeal

2 cups of flour

5 tablespoons of sugar

6 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon of salt

2 cups of milk

two eggs

half cup vegetable oil

Half cup Cali jalapeños diced

 

In a large bowl combine cornmeal flour sugar baking powder and salt add milk egg oil beat until smooth about one minute grease your pan bake 26 minutes until a wooden toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Jalapeno Dirty Martini

2 1/2 oz Gin

1/2 oz Dry Vermouth

1/2 oz Cali Jalapenos brine

 

Pour all 3 ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake for 10 seconds, and strain into a chilled Martini glass. Garish with Jalapeno and Carrot.

Note: Use Original, or Extra Carrot varieties. Garlic is too strong a flavor

Bacon Jalapeno popper egg rolls

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 6 strips bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 3/4-1 jar Cali Jalapeños
  • 1 cup of chopped cabbage 
  • 1 cup of finely diced carrots 
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder 
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • egg roll wrappers (around 20)


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Mix together the cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, bacon, jalapenos, carrots, cabbage, onion powder and garlic powder until well combined. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Place egg roll wrapper with the point towards you. Add 1 tablespoon filling on the bottom one-third of the wrapper. Add 2 or 3 Jalapeno rings on top of filling. Brush a little water on the edge of the wrapper. (You can use your finger.) Fold the sides in and roll up making sure it is completely sealed. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
  3. AIR FRY: Brush olive oil on tray and egg rolls. Preheat air fryer 400° Line egg rolls on the tray with the seam down. Bake for 3-4 minutes. Flip them and brush with olive oil bake for another 3-4 minutes. Or until golden brown on both sides. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
